Need a lofi bed named like a real song, not “Track 07”? Making Mirrors (~1 min) by Gotye is mirrored from a CC0 / public-domain Internet Archive item so you can judge fade-ins, density, and whether it fights voiceover.

Source: Internet Archive item gotye-making-mirrors-cddvd-album-gatefold-sleeve-limited-edition-australia-eleve. Soundex hosts the catalog page; the audio remains the public-domain / CC0 original.

Use the first minute as a bed and the later section as a lift. If the mix is busy, high-pass around 120 Hz under voiceover. Related intents: youtube, podcast.

A practical mix checklist for this file

Confirm the duration in your NLE matches ~1 minutes; some browsers cache partial MP3s.
High-pass the bed if it shares spectrum with a male VO.
Never stack two beds from the same Archive item unless you have checked they are not the same file.
Read the license badge on this page — CC0 still deserves a saved URL for disputes.

Archive CC0 files vary in mastering. If this one peaks hot, clip-gain it down before you compress the whole mix.
